Hello reader,
Welcome to the first article of The Hypenerd Blog. Thank you for clicking on this link and at least thinking about spending 5 minutes reading this. Since this is a new blog and you probably do not know me, let me introduce myself. My name is Jerod Adams, writer and editor of The Hypenerd. It is my pleasure to have you reading this and hopefully subscribing to this blog. Before jumping into the other articles, I would suggest reading a quick bio on me and why I started this blog.
Short Bio
I was born on January 25,1997 in Los Angeles, California, to two parents and an older sister. I grew in West Los Angeles in the neighborhood of Ladera, about 10 minutes from the LAX and 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. I attended Loyola High School, all-boys Jesuit high school in Downtown Los Angeles. After graduating from Loyola in 2015, I attended California Polytechnic University-San Luis Obispo. I will be graduating from Cal Poly with a bachelors in history in the summer of 2019.
The reason for starting this blog
The many reason for this blog is fundamental: providing information for different people on different topics. While I do not like using labels for myself and others, one way I describe myself is as a nerd. This term is not derogatory in any way or form, but I use it to empower my thirst for knowledge. When it comes to fashion, shoes, and History, I can get really excited about something others won’t. I love to go to museums to read the descriptions of artifacts, looking up how clothes are made and designed, and studying different shoes for their technology and history. I can tell you how most things are made and sold to you off the top of my head. It like people who cosplay and collect various items but thru more hype items like Jordans, Yeezys, and Fear of God.
In my nerd tendencies, I have gained knowledge of different aspects of fashion, shoes, and history. I am pretty much a cheat code on those three topics. The goal of his blog is me providing my readers(who will hopefully be called HypeNerds) with information that will help them in their lives, especially the fashion and shoes. There is a lot of information on the internet that is designed for specific markets like teens, college students, etc. I want my market to be everyone. I want everyone on every spectrum like LGBTQIA, teens, college student, etc. I want everyone who reads my blog feel at home and that I have helped them.
Thank you for reading my short article. Subscribe to the blog below to get updates on new articles and other things. Have a great day, and don’t forget to be nerdy.
